Application qualifications for enrollment from outside Japan

When applying to the Japanese Department

  • Applicants are required to have completed 12 years of school education in their own country, and are certified as eligible to study in Japan.
  • Applicants are required to have passed any of the Japanese language ability tests listed below before the Interview.

  • If you an ex-technical intern trainee and wish to apply for a specialized course, you are required to meet some other conditins as below.
  • Applicants are required to have lived in their home country for at least one year after returning from Japan.
  • Applicants are required to have worked in the same field as the training after returning from Japan.
  • Applicants are required to submit the resume submitted to the Immigration Bureau when applying for residence status as a trainee.
