Classes are centered in the morning. You can have a good part-time job in the afternoon.
Both study and part-time job.

5 days a week, the curriculum focuses on the morning, so you can work part-time in the afternoon.
We will introduce part-time jobs to all international students from our affiliated company so that you can always find part-time jobs.

3 minutes by bicycle from school to dormitory

Only 3 minutes by bicycle to school.
Since you can commute to work by bicycle, you will not have to pay for transportation.
The dormitory fee is 20,000 yen/month (extra charge for utilities).

In case of illness or injury, the school staff will select the appropriate hospital according to the symptoms and accompany you to support communication with the doctor.
In addition, when an accident occurs, school staff will go to the site to support exchanges with the accident partner, report the accident to the police, and coordinate with the insurance company.

We support the following situations that are necessary to live in Japan.

  • Support for opening a bank account
  • Support for participation in national health insurance
  • Supports purchase of bicycles necessary for commuting to school or part-time work
  • Supports payment of electricity, gas and water bills

A day of a student

 JEC is located in Himeji City, which is conveniently close to Kobe, Osaka, and Kyoto. Yet, you can enjoy in the city rich nature surrounded by mountains and the sea, as well as Japanese culture represented by Himeji Castle and other historical sites.

He takes various classes, such as grammar, conversation, listening comprehension, and discussion, which are all very challenging. However, he says that he can try hard because he has a specific goal. Meanwhile, a student will be recommended to apply for a scholarship, if he/she has a good attendance record. Therefore, he has not missed a day since enrolling!

After lunch, he goes to his part-time job. He is studying Japanese while earning a living through this job. He applied for the job on his own, without the school’s support. From this experience, he has truly felt improvement in his Japanese skills. He recommends that any of you who want to try your language skills apply for a job on your own.

When he returns from his part-time job, it’s dinner time. He does everything from cooking to dishwashing.

Students also need to study at home to achieve their goals in a short time. In addition to reviewing the day’s lessons, Mr. Hoang also prepares for the next day’s classes. After that, he has some free time. It’s getting late today. It’s about time for him to go to bed. Good night!
