Do you have any scholarship programmes?

International students with excellent grades can apply for the following scholarship programs. Whether or not you can receive a scholarship depends on the results of the screening by each scholarship management organization, but each year two or three of our students have received scholarships.

【About student life

Do you have student dormitories? Are students allowed to stay outside the dormitory?

We have student dormitories. New students of the Japanese course are requested to stay at the dormitory for at lease 6 months. After that you can be allowed to stay outside if you like. If you have relatives (excluding international students) who live near the college and you want to stay with them, then you don’t have to stay at the dormitory.

How will the school support my life in Japan?

You don’t need to worry because our Studying in Japan Promotion Department will fully support you in the following matters necessary for living and studying in Japan. For example, we have the following support systems.

  • Support in joining the National Health Insurance
  • Support in opening a bank account
  • Providing part-time job opportunities
  • Introducing a hospital in case of illness or injury
  • Support in paying utilities such as electricity, water, and gas
  • Support in buying a mobile phone
  • Support in buying groceries and other necessary items
  • Guidance on how to classify and dispose of garbage

【About application】

I haven’t studied Japanese yet. Can I have an interview?

If you submit your high school grades in advance, you can participate in an interview, even if you have not studied Japanese yet. An interview can be conducted via Skype. Or, our staff members, who will be visiting various countries, can meet with you in person for an interview.

Is it possible to study in Japan even if I have been to Japan once as a trainee or engineer?

You can study in Japan if you meet the immigration requirements.
However, we need to check in more detail in such cases, so please contact us using the inquiry form on our website.

【About travelling to Japan and enrollment】

Going to Japan will be my first time to a foreign country. How do I get to the school from the airport?

Don’t worry. Our staff will welcome you at the airport.
Our staff will assist you in all procedures required after entering Japan, including registration at the municipal office, and opening a bank account.
