Application qualifications for enrollment from outside Japan

When applying to the Japanese Department

  • Persons who have completed 12 years of school education in their own country, and are certified as eligible to study in Japan.
  • Persons who have passed or are expected to pass one of the Japanese language ability tests listed below before submitting the application to the Immigration Bureau.

When applying to specialized courses other than Japanese Studies

  • If you apply for a specialized course, you are required to have a qualification equivalent to or higher than JLPT N2, in accordance with immigration regulations.
  • Have lived in their home country for at least one year after returning from Japan.
  • After returning from Japan, have a job with the same work content as the training.
  • As a trainee, be able to submit the resume submitted to the Immigration Bureau when applying for residence status.
